- I am a therapist who works with children and families, including many children in the foster care system. I was adopted at the age of 12 years after over 4 years in foster care. I love my adoptive family as well as my biological siblings and grandparents! I am successful in my career and have a loving family, yet still struggle with feeling the need to prove the merit of my existence!
